Rumi - 'When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.'

With an emphasis being placed on wellness and mental health within the yachting industry, the spa could be a space which is a step forward in enhancing crew well-being, onboard.
It sometimes is very easy to get caught up in the day-to-day demands and the routine of what is required within the environment onboard. It is well known that we learn best when we gift ourselves the ability to do something we enjoy which increases productivity and has a profound impact on positivity.
Having seen from experience what the benefits are of utilising the spa spaces on board for the purpose of training whilst helping the crew and the effect that it has as a whole - is wonderful. Gifting the spa team the time to focus on their training, keeping abreast with the latest industry trends and focusing on what it means to be a spa therapist - to make others feel good above all else - has the ability to become a standard in enhancing crew well-being, as after all each individual would benefit from this.
The association that one has with wellness is profoundly positive, to be well.
"The treatment space onboard is a highly impactful safe space within the vessel for the guest to seclude, unwind, reset and arguably be at their most vulnerable" - which may apply to your crew, too. Since they are the single most important factor in ensuring the guest experience is unsurpassed, they need to feel their absolute best to offer this level of service by having the time to relax and improve their quality of life - mentally, physically and spiritually.
The benefits of this are bountiful and offer a new dimension to the knowledge that the other crew members may retain and be able to pass on to the guests when informing them about the wellness spaces onboard or more specifically, the therapist who is onboard. This in turn has an impact on your therapist as they feel their need and desire to do their work is being respected, recognized and fulfilled meaning you may have a happier, healthier team.
And so, we encourage gifting your team the opportunity to do work from their soul amongst all other requirements that the day demands but we can assure you that taking time to pause, breathe and be present is the gift, that keeps on giving.
