'Everyone gets to be young, but not everyone is lucky enough to grow old.'

I have the immense privilege of hindsight, and being a mother. It rests heavily on me, knowing that as I raise my children, I owe it to them to listen to that little whisper of 'what if' - it could be the best decision of your life - encouraging any self-doubt to dissolve and allowing the self to wholeheartedly accept the adventure that it may be embarking on.

It seems perchance to find the time to be utterly present. To reflect and to absorb all that 'has been'. And anticipating what will be.

The one thing that remains certain is that the best decisions are the decisions from the heart and the freedom that awaits in the breezes of the sky. We all fall, but with falling, we learn to fly. And so, one day, should those I love wish to soar on the breezes of the sky, I could only hope for them to grow. Enabling hindsight to hold gratitude close and know that every decision they made, was from listening to the wise whispers of 'what if you fly, darling.'
